Last year we had some tall "mystery grass" pop up in the flower garden near our mailbox. We didn't remember planting anything, but it looked like maybe it was something so we left it alone. It didn't turn into anything, but it contrasted with the mulch and filled in some empty space, so this year when it came back we decided to just leave it. The other day I noticed 2 buds and then Sunday one bloomed!
